96 BRIGADE 'Revolution for dummies'

Wow, this is it: uncomplicated straightforward, but oh so effective US politically-charged streetpunk, with some old-school hardcore influences. This album has a great classic raw sound, very 80's like. One of the best RAC-ish albums to come out of the States in a while. You can't go wrong with this one!

COMANDO SUICIDA 'Ayer Oi! y siempre'

Live album from South America's longest-going Oi! / skinhead band, since the early 80's already. These 12 tracks were captured at a concert in May 2010 in their hometown of Buenos Aires. The CD features some of their absolute classics like 'Me cago en la yuta', 'Ultimo recurso'. The sound quality is decent for a live CD. The CD was released by the band themselves, pro-CDR in cardboard slipcase. A bit pricey maybe, but only 150 copies have been made.

      LES VILAINS 'Skinhead family'

Brand new album of the popular Belgian band. No compilation with old songs, but a proper new album and their first in 7 years it is. The band stay true to their style, as well musically as lyrically: politically incorrect, but a 100% skinhead. No political sloganeering, no Oi! Oi! fun & beer, just real-life topics, straight from the heart. Some songs feature guitar riffs and backing vocals with Dieter KBK (R.I.P.), taken from the album's demos.

LES VILAINS 'Nice boys don't play Rac'n'roll' T-shirt

NO BOLLOX JUST OI! #3 Fanzine

86-page printed fanzine from Romania, but completely in English. Features interviews with Section 5, The Traditionals, Eastside Boys, On The Job, The Corps, Zusammenrottung, The Misogynes, Disdainful, Barse, Dockside Hookers, Saht, Völund Smed, Jenny Woo, Njord and more. Also included are zine and record reviews and a couple of other articles. Comes with a DVD with 16 songs of bands featured in the zine, interviews with Cock Sparrer and DJ Jim Skin, PDF-versions of the first 2 issues of the fanzine and some more stuff.

OI! WE STILL SAY 'FUCK YOU'!

A.k.a. 'Oi! fuck you vol.2' this compilation showcases the best British skinhead and Oi! bands of the moment, 15 tracks by Wasted Nation, T.M.F., Citizen Keyne, Wasted Life, The London Diehards, Pressure 28, Keyside Strike, Insane Youth, Bakers Dozen, Streetpunk Drunks, Churchill, Urban Scum, Breakout, Rotten Apples and Skinfull. As with all MFS releases a really nice booklet with band contacts, photos and lyrics, 20 pages altogether.

REBEL HELL 'Fury, faith and hatred'

An album that picks up right where the last one, 'Ancient blood', left off: still that raw mix of Motorhead, GBH and Bound For Glory, very powerful and with an excellent production! Being released on Germany's PC Records, you know it comes with a very nice 16-page booklet.

THE RETURN OF HYDE 'We stand against'

Roy of Final War and Pete of KG23 are the thriving force behind this band project. Musically very different from Final War though: raw, slow-paced metal, with an aggressive feel to it and a touch of hardcore. The vocal parts are handled by both, adding some contrast to the songs. Lyrically very socio-critical, and more mature than your average RAC band. A welcome change for those who like their music a little harder.

ULTIMA THULE / HEL 'Genom eld och aska'

Re-release of the 17-track split of the 2 bands, contains some tracks taken from their albums, but most are alternate versions or unreleased songs even, excellent!!! An album that has long been unavailable. This new version comes with a booklet with all lyrics.

       VICIOUS RUMOURS 'Farticus'

The latest of the British bands of old to make a comeback. 'Farticus' compiles new songs recorded in the U.S. in the early 2000s, as demos and tracks released as a split CD with The Generators. There are also two excellent quality live tracks recorded in Leipzig, Germany, and the band's first demo from 1983 with slightly primitive versions of 'This is your loife', 'Soul patrol' and 'Take the blame'. The newly recorded songs sound very good, somewhere between 'Anytime day or night' and 'The sickest men', but slightly rockier. The songs are, as expected, not too serious, rather tongue in cheek. The demo tracks are fun to listen to, with their different lyrics and stripped-down garage sound.
