Long Island skinhead band with one punk. Simple but effective Oi. This CD contains their original full-length LP, the "East Side Skinhead Pride" 7", demo tracks and a compilation track. 24 songs altogether! As usual, the booklet contains photos, lyrics and such.

Battle Cry was formed in '93 by three skinheads on Long Island, New York. The band was originally called "We the People" and included Phil on vocals, Pete on guitar and Paul on drums.
They had various temporary bass players who filled in until Dave joined the band in 1995 and released their debut album on his "Punk Core" label, co-released with Vulture Rock Records.
The band was on shaky ground when they recorded the "East side skinhead pride" EP in 1996.
Shortly thereafter, the band decided to call it quits when guitarist Pete went away to school in Florida. The band re-formed shortly with Dave on Guitar and a new bass player named Matt.
The new sound was a harder, more RAC style but general disinterest from various members of the band eventually led the band to finally call it a day in 1998.
